Meet Claire, the Holistic Skin Healer Behind Rosebud Beauty – As Featured in Voyage Michigan

I’m so honored to share that I was recently featured in Voyage Michigan Magazine as part of their Rising Stars series!


This article dives into my personal journey — from struggling with cystic acne in high school, to becoming a professional makeup artist, to eventually launching Rosebud Beauty by Claire, my holistic esthetics studio in Shelby Township, Michigan.

From Struggle to Skin Solutions



Like so many of my clients, I didn’t grow up with perfect skin. My teenage years were filled with insecurity, breakouts, and a long search for answers. That search led me to makeup artistry, esthetics school, and years of diving deep into holistic wellness.


After going through hip surgeries and living with hormonal imbalances, I knew I had to take a more whole-body approach to skin health. That’s what inspired the soul of Rosebud Beauty by Claire — a studio where beauty and wellness come together, where every facial is customized, and where sensitive skin is treated with the compassion it deserves.




My Mission: Skin Healing for Sensitive, Rosacea, and Hormonal Skin



Over time, I’ve come to specialize in working with clients who feel frustrated, forgotten, or overwhelmed — especially women dealing with:


  • Rosacea

  • Hormonal acne

  • Sensitive, reactive skin

  • Skin affected by chronic stress or gut issues



I use gentle, professional products, holistic techniques, and a trauma-aware approach that helps your skin and nervous system feel safe again.

Being recognized as a “Rising Star” by Voyage Michigan is deeply meaningful. As a solo esthetician and small business owner, most of my work happens behind the scenes — from long days with clients to late nights working on content, marketing, or continuing education.
