Lash lifts and tints are a great low-maintenance service that enables you to wake up every morning feeling put together, and it saves you time in your morning routine. A lash lift is a semi-permanent, all-natural service where a licensed and trained esthetician uses safe solutions that curl your natural eyelashes to make them appear longer and fuller. This service usually takes about an hour to complete (without tinting added) and requires you to lay flat with your eyes closed for the duration of the service. Many clients who enjoy lash extensions, but don't have the time for lash extension fills (every 2-4 weeks) love this service for it being lower maintenance (every 6-8 weeks). Clients who have relatively higher density, thickness, and length of natural lashes also love this service since it enhances their natural lashes and removes the need for lash curlers and mascara. You are allowed to use water-based mascara after the first 24 hours if you would like to enhance the look further. The best candidates for this service have naturally longer lashes, but with a straight or downward pointing curl to them which makes them naturally less visible.

If you're a first-timer, when booking your appointment, keep in mind the following:

•  You will need to avoid getting your lashes wet or near steam for 24 hours after each appointment, so plan your daily shower accordingly.

• Please arrive at your appointments with no makeup on your eyes (eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara)

• Please arrive at your appointments with no contacts in and/or bring a contact case and glasses if you normally wear contacts. You need to remove them for the duration of the service, but you can re-insert them after completion of the service.

• Your appointment will require you to lie down for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes with your eyes closed.

• It is recommended to avoid drinking caffeine right before appointments, as this makes the eyes twitch and can make people restless.

• There is a bathroom in the building for client use, and I recommend going to the bathroom right before appointments to avoid interruption. If needed, just let me know if you need a bathroom break, as it is possible, but it may make us run behind.

• Please notify anyone who needs to contact you daily that you will not have access to your phone for about an hour. I recommend silencing your phone before sessions and leaving it with your coat/purse. You will not be allowed to open your eyes during the application process to ensure safety.

• Results do vary a good amount depending on your natural lash thickness, length, and density. However, all clients will see some kind of enhancement of their natural lashes, no matter how thick or thin their lashes are. You do need to have lashes that are at least 5-6 mm long (about 1/4 in). Most people assume their lashes are shorter than they are, but if you aren't sure, just send me a close-up photo of your lashes from the side and front (clean, with no mascara), and I'll take a quick look before we book your appointment.

• Overall, the process is typically painless, calming, and relaxing. Many people even use this time as their designated restorative time to take a "lash nap". My advice is to take this time for yourself. I am open to however you'd like to use it and will follow your lead on whether you like to chat and vent, not talk at all & put earbuds in to listen to a podcast, or take a much-needed nap. Use this time to relax however that looks for you.
